Develop an Australia-wide recruitment campaign targeting 25-35 year olds, including university graduates.

Challenge

Barrick was having difficulty recruiting staff and wanted a fresh, non-traditional approach to recruiting young men and women.

Solution

Mitara developed the ‘Hungry for success?’ campaign featuring advertising, print media and giveaways. The campaign used a ‘sushi’ theme to focus on the benefits for young job seekers, including material, personal and career gains.

Outcome

The campaign was a success in delivering a key message to the target market, as well as re-engaging existing young Barrick staff. As a result, the campaign has been adapted to ongoing recruitment material.
